Some histories deserve to be walked through, not just read about.
For International Women’s Day, Max Media partnered with the British Embassy in Khartoum to create a museum-style exhibition under the global #BalanceForBetter theme, turning the stories of influential women from Sudanese and British history into a physical experience visitors could move through and explore.
At the heart of the exhibition was a series of specially designed posters profiling women whose contributions had helped shape Sudan, the United Kingdom, and the wider world. Rather than presenting these stories as standalone campaign materials, Max Media developed an exhibition environment that brought them together in one cohesive narrative.
The team designed and produced the complete exhibition space, including the poster series and custom-built display stands that structured the visitor journey and gave each story its own place within the exhibition.
By bringing storytelling, graphic design, print, and spatial design together, the project transformed International Women’s Day messaging into an experience that invited visitors to discover the women, histories, and contributions behind the campaign.
